A father and his son died, and another son injured on Saturday morning after a motor vehicle accident on the 600 Block of Willis St.
Officers arrived at the scene after a report of the vehicle leaving the roadway and colliding with a tree around 11 a.m.

Two of the passengers required extrication from the vehicle, and all three were transported to Bristol Hospital.
The 35-year-old father and 12-year-old son were declared dead upon arrival at the hospital, while the 10-year-old son was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
“The Bristol Police Department and the entire city extend its deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased,” said Bristol Police Chief Mark Morello. “This tragedy is especially difficult given the young age of the deceased passenger, the upcoming holidays, and our hearts ache.”
The Bristol Police Department’s Accident Reconstruction Team will continue to conduct an investigation on the fatal accident.
