News Photo by Steve Schulwitz A smashed car sits in the middle of 1st Avenue in Alpena after being involved in a wreck with another vehicle. Nobody was injured in the crash.
The Alpena Police Department responded to a two-car crash at the intersection of 1st Avenue and Park Place in downtown Alpena shortly after noon today.
Nobody was injured in the wreck but there was heavy damage to the car. The second vehicle, a full-size truck, received only minor damage.
