Two drivers have been killed and multiple people are injured after a serious collision between a bus, truck and car in Ireland.
The three vehicles crashed in Gormanston, Co Meath on the R132 earlier this morning. Witnesses said there were at least six ambulances, medical vehicles and fire engines at the scene.
The male driver of the lorry, in his 40s, and the male driver of the bus, in his 50s, were pronounced dead at the scene, officers confirmed. Meanwhile the female driver of the car, in her 40's, and her teenaged passenger were rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
According to locals, the Bus Eireann driver, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was a well known father to seven children, reports the Irish Mirror.
Gardaí are now appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to come forward.
Those who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were traveling on the R132, at Gormanstown, Co. Meath, between 5.45am and 6.45am this morning, Monday 24th November 2025, are asked to hand over the footage to investigating Gardaí.

Passengers who were on the early morning Bus Eireann route were also taken to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. There are understood to be as many as 12 people injured in the incident.
The lorry driver, a man aged in his 40’s, and the bus driver, a aged in his 50’s, were pronounced dead at the scene, Gardai confirmed. The female driver of the car, aged in her 40s, was conveyed to Beaumont Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Two people are understood to have died in the crash and at least 12 people have been injured.
Gardai have been pictured at the scene of the collision in Gormanston. The collision involves a bus, truck and car and has seen the road closed off with local diversions in place. Bus Éireann confirmed one of its route 101 services was involved.
Bus Eireann, Ireland's leading bus and coach operator, has issued a statement.
It said: "Bus Éireann can confirm one of our route 101 services has been involved in a critical road traffic collision involving other vehicles in the Gormanstown Cross area of county Meath this morning, 24 November 2025.
"Emergency services and Bus Éireann personnel are currently at the scene. We will provide further information as it becomes available."
Witnesses have reported seeing at least six ambulances at the scene, as well as medical vehicles and several fire engines, the Irish Mirror reports.
The crash is understood to have taken place at around 6.30am this morning, and is believed to involve a bus, truck and car. Gardai have closed the road as work at the scene continues.
A Garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí and emergency services are currently attending the scene of a road traffic collision at Gormanstown, Co. Meath, this morning, Monday 24th November 2025. The R132 is currently closed with local diversions in place.
"No further information is available at this time."
