Majors Management has launched its MAPCO car wash app, created in partnership with Convenience & Energy Advisors and powered by Liquid Barcodes, the company said in a statement sent to NACS.
In the app, customers can enroll in a monthly subscription and manage their membership, the company said.
“We are excited to bring this new digital capability to MAPCO customers,” said John Gynnip, director of corporate programs with Majors Management. “The MAPCO Express Car Wash App reflects our commitment to delivering an easy, modern experience. As we grow the MAPCO car wash brand across new regions, we want to ensure our customers receive simple, convenient tools that make everyday life easier. Liquid Barcodes worked extremely quickly with us to deliver a beautiful, customized app that our customers will appreciate.”
Convenience & Energy Advisors led the development and rollout of the new program on behalf of Majors Management. “We are proud to support Majors Management in delivering this purpose-built car wash subscription platform,” said Peter Rasmussen, founder and CEO of Convenience & Energy Advisors. “By keeping the experience focused on the customer and removing unnecessary complexity, MAPCO is offering an incredibly intuitive and highly valuable service.”
“We are delighted to partner with Majors Management and Convenience & Energy Advisors on this launch,” Saurabh Swarup, GM North America for Liquid Barcodes, added. “Subscription car wash programs continue to grow rapidly, and MAPCO’s new app is a great example of how operators can deliver a frictionless, scalable and customer-friendly solution.”
Earlier this year, Majors Management acquired 35 stores from Alimentation Couche-Tard, located across Indiana, Ohio and Pennsylvania. The acquired sites will be rebranded as MAPCO stores over the coming months.
