Drivers faced long rush hour delays following a two-car crash.
The accident happened on the A2 Watling Street eastbound between the B255 Bean Lane, at the Bean Interchange, and the A2260 Southfleet Road, at the Northfleet and Ebbsfleet turn-off.
The road was partially blocked, however it has now fully reopened.
There was previously congestion at the Black Prince Interchange in Bexley, and National Highways had reported four miles of queueing.
Emergency services have been contacted for more information.
