UPDATE (Monday, Nov. 24): The driver, a 28-year-old man, was found nearby and charged with DWI and "other associated offenses," according to Captain Greg Bello from the Rochester Police Department. The suspect received appearance tickets.

Rochester, N.Y. — A church near the Rochester-Irondequoit line was damaged after a vehicle crashed into it early Sunday.
Officers responded to Culver Road and Empire Boulevard around 12:30 a.m. after callers reported a vehicle drove into St. Ambrose, according to Lt. Jeremy Robinson from the Rochester Police Department.
Robinson said all occupants fled the scene before officers arrived. The building was inspected by code enforcement.
Parishioner Jason Dusett said Sunday services went on as planned, with half of the church closed off.
The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information or video is asked to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 423-9300.
