Drivers are facing long delays on a motorway during rush hour after a car went up in flames.
The incident unfolded on the hard shoulder of the M20 coastbound just after Junction 7 for the A249 (Maidstone and Detling Hill), sparking two miles of gridlock.
The road is partially blocked while traffic is quickly building at Junction 6 for Blue Bell Hill.
Emergency services were called to the scene, and people are being warned to expect delays in the area.
National Highways says normal conditions are expected to return at about 10pm.
The fire service has been approached for more information.
