Daniel Gale had a moment to remember at the Australian PGA Championship and also earned himself a new car in the process.
The 29-year-old Aussie golfer stepped up to the tee for the 11th hole, with the prize for a hole-in-one being a brand-new BMW M5 Touring worth $264,000.
Just as the topic of the prize was brought up when he was hitting the shot, commentator Ali Whitaker admitted it would be difficult for Gale to pull it off.

"I'd love to see that go off this weekend – you'll be hard-pressed to find one today though," she said on the Nine broadcast.
Just seconds later, the perfect shot from Gale rolled into the hole as the crowd erupted.

"It's in," Mat Thompson yelled on commentary.
"The BMW M5 Touring will look very nice in the garage. Get that engine running.
"What a shot, an ace for Daniel Gale."

He celebrated by high-fiving members of his team and a few spectators
Gale's rare feat saw him shoot up the leaderboard as he donned a yellow bucket hat in honour of the late Jarrod Lyle, who died of leukaemia in 2018.
