A CAR in Colchester reportedly hit two people on a pavement with a third person thrown into the air.
Essex Police were notified of a crash involving a car in Queen Street at about 4.30am today.
A spokesperson for the force said: “It was reported that a black Fiat 500 was driven up onto the pavement, hitting two people and a third person went up onto the windscreen and was thrown into the air before leaving the scene.
“Thankfully, no one was seriously injured.
“The car bumper was left behind, and it’s believed that the windscreen was broken.
The spokesperson said it was reported the car had been driven erratically around Colchester city centre prior to the collision.
