Toyota has teased three new sports cars, including the GR GT and what appears to be the production-ready Lexus Sport Concept
Toyota has released a new teaser previewing three “all-new sports models” set to debut together on December 4. From the shadows, the trio appears to include a Lexus sports coupe alongside two versions of Toyota’s GR GT supercar, one built for the road, the other destined for the track.
A New Lexus Sports Coupe
The automaker has provided little beyond a single moody photo, but it’s enough to fuel speculation. On the left, the silhouette suggests what could be the production version of the Lexus Sport Concept from August, recognizable by its two-door coupe stance and futuristic taillight design.

That concept, which also appeared at the Japan Mobility Show in October, already looked nearly ready for the showroom. Any updates are expected to center on fine details and a slightly toned-down cabin treatment rather than major exterior changes.
A closer look at the teaser hints at textured rear glass, though it’s unclear whether the concept’s roof-mounted fans will make production. The same uncertainty applies to features like the illuminated fin, Lexus lettering, and F1-style brake light that made the concept stand out.

The still-unnamed model was once thought to be fully electric, but recent reports indicate it will instead use a GR-derived hybrid V8 tuned specifically for Lexus. The car is expected to arrive in 2026, positioned as the successor to the aging LC rather than a direct follow-up to the legendary LFA supercar.
A Supercar From Gazoo Racing
At the center of the teaser sits Toyota’s upcoming GR GT supercar, also confirmed for a December 4 premiere in a recent Japanese TV spot. This machine shows a longer hood, a more conventional rear glass, and full-width LED taillights.

We also get a glimpse of the interior that was revealed a few months ago featuring a large infotainment display, a row of physical controls, and two carbon fiber bucket seats.
Toyota has confirmed that the GR-branded model will be powered by a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine paired with a self-charging hybrid system. he combustion engine alone could deliver about 800 horsepower, positioning it as Toyota’s most powerful model yet and a spiritual successor to the V10-powered Lexus LFA.
A Wild GT3 Racecar
Completing the trio is a machine that mirrors the GR GT’s proportions but takes them to an extreme, pointing to a competition variant.
As seen in earlier spy shots and the camouflaged prototype that charged up Goodwood, the racecar boasts vented fenders, a fixed rear wing, side-mounted tailpipes, a more prominent diffuser, and a lowered stance. It is expected to compete in GT3 championships as a follow up to the Toyota GR GT3 concept from 2022.
The three sports models will make their debut on December 4 during a live-streamed presentation featuring President Akio Toyoda and Chief Branding Officer Simon Humphries as hosts.
