Two men have been arrested and charged after more than a dozen firearms were allegedly uncovered.
The arrests follow a series of four search warrants across Sydney, the first of which was executed at a unit in Bardwell Park about 8.30am on Tuesday.
Officers arrested a 39-year-old man at the unit after allegedly seizing an unregistered Smith and Wessen revolver and 169 rounds.
The second warrant, a Kingsgrove storage facility, allegedly uncovered an AR15 assault rifle, a semi-automatic rifle, ammunition and 3D printed firearms parts.
A third, alleged to be the man’s safe storage location in St Marys, was found to not house a single item.
He was charged with 11 firearm offences.
Police arrested a 29-year-old driver of a Toyota Hiace with the help of Polair, Highway Patrol, Dog Unit and detectives in Narellan about 6.15pm later that day.
“A search of the vehicle allegedly located a green duffle bag containing two privately made firearms … (containing) slides, barrels and a steel receiver.” NSW Police said.
Subsequent searches of the vehicle and the man’s belongings allegedly located a folding semi-automatic style rifle, magazines and banana clips containing numerous rounds of ammunition, six silencers and silencer parts, a revolver and $4300 in cash.
The man was aken to Narellan Police Station and charged with a number of firearm offences.
Police executed the final search about 12.10am on Wednesday at an address in Arncliffe, allegedly locating “a significant firearms manufacture operation”.
NSW Police will allege the location was home to an “industrial size CNC Mill, 3D Printer, countless magazines, slides, barrels and ammunition”.
Both men were refused bail and are expected to face court on Wednesday.

Special popcorn buckets for the release of Zootopia 2 have been recalled over choking fears.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) issued a recall alert for the product on Tuesday.
Consumers were warned the “handle can separate from the bucket and liberate small parts”.
“Risk of death or serious injury from choking if children try to swallow small parts from the popcorn bucket,” the ACCC said.
The product was sold at Village Cinemas in New South Wales, Tasmania and Victoria from November 27-28.
Those who purchased the bucket have been urged to stop using it immegiately and “keep out of reach of children”.
They have also been told to return the product to Village Cinema for a full refund and to contact the cinema chain if it has already been disposed of.
Trains and traffic have screeched to a halt after a car crashed off of a bridge and onto railway tracks.
Emergency services were alerted to the crash in Blaxland, just west of Penrith, about 6am on Thursday.
An image from the scene shows the vehicle fell several metres before landing on its roof.
A male driver in his 20s was miraculously able to free himself from the wreckage, having only suffered minor injuries and not needed further treatment at hospital.
NSW Transport announced the crash had resulted in trains being cancelled between Springwood and Emu Plains.
“A very limited number of buses are running between Springwood and Emu Plains,” NSW TrainLink West said.
“Please delay travel if possible or allow plenty of extra travel time.”
The Prada Group has officially purchased Milan fashion rival Versace in a 1.25 billion euro ($A2.21 billion) deal that puts the fashion house known for its sexy silhouettes under the same roof as Prada’s “ugly chic” aesthetic and Miu Miu’s youth-driven appeal.
The highly anticipated deal is expected to relaunch Versace’s fortunes after middling post-pandemic performance as part of the US luxury group Capri Holdings.
Prada said on Tuesday that the acquisition had been completed after receiving all regulatory clearances.
Prada heir Lorenzo Bertelli will steer Versace’s next phase as executive chairman, as well as his roles as group marketing director and sustainability chief.
The son of co-creative director Miuccia Prada and longtime Prada Group chairman Patrizio Bertelli has said he did not expect to make any swift executive changes at Versace.
But Bertelli has said the company, which places among the top 10 most recognised brands in the world, has long been underperforming in the market.

Disgraced former political staffer Bruce Lehrmann is poised to learn whether a second return to the lion’s den has overturned a court ruling he probably raped colleague Brittany Higgins.
The 30-year-old suffered a bruising own-goal after suing Network Ten and journalist Lisa Wilkinson for defamation over an interview with Higgins on The Project in 2021.
Justice Michael Lee found Higgins’ claims Lehrmann had raped her inside Parliament House two years earlier were established on the balance of probabilities.
In his headline-grabbing decision in April 2024, the judge quipped: “Having escaped the lions’ den, Mr Lehrmann made the mistake of going back for his hat.”
Lehrmann appealed the finding during a two-day hearing in August, arguing the judge erred in finding Ten and Wilkinson had legally justified the imputation of rape.
After months of deliberations, the Full Court of the Federal Court will hand down its decision on Wednesday.

A man accused of shooting two National Guard troops near the White House has pleaded not guilty to murder and assault charges during his first appearance before a judge via video from a hospital bed.
Rahmanullah Lakanwal, a 29-year-old Afghan citizen who was also shot, faces charges stemming from the November 26 shooting that killed Specialist Sarah Beckstrom, 20, and wounded Staff Sergeant Andrew Wolfe, 24.
His lawyer entered a not guilty plea on his behalf during a brief court hearing in Washington DC.
Beckstrom and Wolfe were deployed with the West Virginia National Guard for US President Donald Trump’s law-enforcement surge in the capital, which has flooded the city with federal agents and troops since August.
Authorities were investigating a possible motive for what they described as an ambush-style attack.
A prosecutor, Ariel Dean, described the shooting as a “shocking crime” and said it appears that Lakanwal “traversed the city to some extent” before approaching the troops and shooting them.
The magistrate judge ordered him detained, citing the “sheer terror that resulted” from Lakanwal’s actions.
