WEST HARTFORD — A 27-year-old New Britain man has been arrested for shooting at a car parked on Park Road earlier this year, police said.  
Jaecob Gonzalez was charged Tuesday in connection with the early morning Feb. 17 shooting, according to West Hartford Police Capt. Aaron Vafiades.

Vafiades said officers responded around 12:41 a.m. to the 100 block and found evidence of gun fire with damage to an unoccupied vehicle. 
“There were no victims reported at the time the incident was reported,” Vafiades said. 
Vafiades said Gonzalez was identified as the shooter following “a thorough and extensive investigation.” He said the man was arrested while incarcerated on unrelated charges. 
Vafiades said Gonzalez was charged with unlawful discharge of a firearm, criminal possession of a firearm, criminal use of a weapon, weapons in a motor vehicle, first-degree reckless endangerment, first-degree criminal mischief and second-degree breach of peace.
