The deadly crash happened just before 7:30 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Cuelebra Road and Ingram Road.
Police arrived to find a vehicle engulfed in flames with a passenger trapped inside. Officers attempted to put out the fire until firefighters arrived. Crews extracted the man from the back seat and began life-saving measures, but he later died from his injuries.
Two others were taken to the hospital, one in serious condition and the other with minor injuries.
The intersection will remain closed for at least two hours during the investigation and cleanup. Drivers are advised to avoid the area if possible.
