An investigation is underway after a vehicle smashed into a restaurant and bar in New Jersey early Friday morning.
According to police, the incident happened at 7:23 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 15, 2025, on Nottingham Way in Hamilton Township.

Police said a 2010 Mercedes CCL was traveling westbound on Edinburg Road, approaching the 5-points intersection with Nottingham Way, Whitehorse Mercerville Rd., and Quakerbridge Rd. Upon entering the intersection, an eastbound vehicle on Nottingham Way turned left toward northbound Quakerbridge Rd.
According to the police, the driver of the Mercedes made an evasive maneuver to the right, which resulted in his vehicle leaving the road and impacting the side wall of Bill’s Olde Tavern. The car that turned left onto Quakerbridge Rd did not stop and continued northbound away from the scene.
SkyForce10 was on the scene and the Mercedes could be seen up against the restaurant and first responders could also be seen surveying the scene.
Police said there were no reported injuries from the driver of the Mercedes and his vehicle sustained moderate damage.
Bill’s Olde Tavern sustained no significant structural damage and the owner of the business was notified of the incident, according to police.

Police said the driver of the other vehicle is unknown at this time.
The investigation is ongoing and video footage from an adjacent business is being reviewed at this time, police said.
