The person who was burned to death in his car today in Qafë e Llogarasë has been identified.
According to official information and family members, the person who lost his life is Artjol Xhelo, 32 years old, a former police officer from Ura Vajgurore.
It is learned that Xhelo had resigned from the police in 2023.
Meanwhile, family members have indicated that he suffered from depression and was worried about employment.
He had even told his family that if he didn’t find a job, he wouldn’t return home that day.
“If I don’t find a job, I won’t return home today,” he said.
Authorities are continuing investigations to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident, while official conclusions from the expert examination are awaited.
