POLICE were called to a collision last week after a fallen tree caused a car to crash into a verge along the A388.
On Sunday, December 14, Devon and Cornwall Police were called to a collision on the A388 near Lezant.
The incident occurred around 8.45pm after a large tree had fallen and blocked the road.
As a result, one car then collided with a verge.
A spokesperson from the force explained: “Ambulance attended and checked over the vehicle occupants. No injuries were reported at the scene.”
The road was blocked and closed. The closure was taken over by Highways at 11.05pm who were also on scene to clear the fallen tree.
