Police are appealing for witnesses and footage following the death of a teenager in a road traffic incident in Bradford.
The Major Collision and Enquiry Team (MCET) would like to speak to anyone who witnessed or has information about the collision on West Lane, Baildon in the early hours of Saturday morning (20 December).
Emergency services were called at 12.55am to a report a grey Ford Fiesta had crashed into the garden of a property on West Lane and on attendance located the car with two persons inside.
A 17-year-old girl was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries and is today described as being in a serious but stable condition.
The driver, an 18-year-old boy, was sadly confirmed to have died at the scene.
Following enquiries, it was established the Fiesta may have been travelling in tandem with a white Suzuki Swift SZ3 just prior to the crash.
Three 18-year-old boys have been arrested on suspicion of death by dangerous driving in connection with the incident. A 40-year-old man has also been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and assisting an offender.
All remain in custody for questioning.
Multiple police enquiries remain ongoing and officers would like to speak to anyone who saw or has footage of the collision or the two cars involved before it took place.
