A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle near the Mall of New Hampshire in Manchester on Monday.
Manchester police said they responded to the area of 1741 South Willow St. around 5:30 p.m. Monday for a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian.

When they arrived, police learned that a Mazda CX-9 driven by a 52-year-old woman from Nashua had hit a 65-year-old woman from Manchester.
The pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The driver of the SUV was not injured.
Preliminary investigation determined that the vehicle was driving north on South Willow Street just north of Huse Road when the crash occurred.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and anyone with information is asked to call police at 603-668-8711.
