PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WJAR) — Pawtucket police said a man was taken to a hospital after a shooting and a crash on Thursday evening.
Police said they responded to a shots fired report in the vicinity of Park and Woodbine streets at about 8 p.m.
According to officials, a fleeing vehicle was involved in a car crash at the intersection of Park Street and Central Avenue.
Police said the driver, a 22-year-old man, sustained gunshot wounds.
The man was taken to the hospital.
