A 51-year-old West Haven man died Dec. 30, 2025, after police say his car crossed over into oncoming traffic on Grassy Hill Road in Orange and struck two vehicles.
ORANGE — Police say they’re investigating a Tuesday evening crash on Grassy Hill Road that killed a West Haven man and injured two others.
The crash occurred at 5:17 p.m. near the intersection of Grassy Hill and Hilltop roads after a southbound 2008 Nissan Sentra crossed into the northbound lane for unknown reasons and collided with two other vehicles, police said.

The Nissan sideswiped a northbound car and then crashed into the front of a third vehicle, according to Orange police, who said three drivers were transported from the scene to hospitals for treatment of injuries.
Police said the driver of the Nissan — Daniel Ronan, 51, of West Haven — succumbed to his injuries later that evening. The other two drivers suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening, police said.
The crash remains under investigation.
