TITUSVILLE — A 71-year-old man riding an electric bicycle was killed Saturday evening after a collision involving a sedan traveling on U.S. 1 in Titusville, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The deadly crash happened about 8:17 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, just north of the intersection of U.S. 1 with Kings Highway.
Troopers said the 36-year-old driver of the 2016 Honda Accord, a Titusville man, was not injured and remained at the crash site. The e-bicyclist, also a Titusville man, was pronounced dead at the scene. FHP did not disclose the identities of either man.
An investigation into the crash continues.
