A 6-year-old girl died from injuries she sustained in a crash on Staten Island days after another passenger riding in the same car was killed.
Police on Sunday said Anheli Vasquez-Trinidad had suffered critical injuries from a crash on Friday morning near the intersection of Rockland Avenue and Forest Hill Road. She died two days later.
The 6-year-old girl was one of three people traveling in a Honda HRV southbound on Forest Hill Road. Police said the car’s 70-year-old driver crashed into the driver of an Audi Q5 trying to make a left turn onto the same road.

The 70-year-old driver, according to police, was also critically hurt in the crash. The 90-year-old passenger, Gerardo Avila, died on Friday.
First responders also transported the 50-year-old Audi driver to a nearby hospital to be treated for injuries sustained in the crash.
No arrests had been announced as of Sunday. The NYPD Highway District’s Collision Investigation Squad is investigating.
