NEW GLOUCESTER, Maine (WGME) — The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office says a woman was hit by a car and killed while trying to cross the road in New Gloucester Saturday night.
At around 8:40 p.m., the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office and New Gloucester Fire Department responded to 1100 Lewiston Road, where Stacy Strattard of Gray, 64, had reportedly been hit.
Police say they don't believe impaired driving was a factor.
This investigation is ongoing.
