THREE people were injured after a driver crashed into a telegraph pole and the car landed on its roof.
One person was taken to hospital after the crash at the junction of Astwood Road and Bilford Road, in the early hours of this morning.
Two others were treated for their injuries at the scene, the fire service has confirmed.
BT was also contacted, due to telephone lines having been brought down, and the road was closed.

A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: “We received two calls at 3.27am.
“It was a road traffic collision involving a car that was overturned.
“We mobilised two fire engines from Worcester and one officer attended.
“BT were requested because telephone cables were down.
“There were three casualties. One was conveyed to hospital by ambulance and the other two received checks on the scene.”
We contacted West Mercia Police, who were unable to give further details, including whether there had been any arrests.

By 10am on Sunday, the road had reopened but debris from the crashed car and the collapsed telegraph pole could still be seen lying on the pavement.
Sri Sugumar, who was working in the Today’s Local corner shop, told Worcester News that the damaged phone lines had left the shop and nearby properties without WiFi.
“They’ve crashed and the telephone line and wires fell,” he said. “There was a WiFi problem during the storm and again due to this incident.
“BT said it might take a week to fix.”
Green Councillor Matt Jenkins, who represents the St Stephen area on Worcestershire County Council, said he is “very concerned” following the crash.
While the cause remains unconfirmed, he said he is hoping government funding will be made available for a redesign of the junction.
“I was very concerned to hear about this incident and hope that those involved are not seriously injured,” he said.
“I await the police report to understand the cause of the crash.
“As the local county councillor, I have pushed for improvements at this junction, making it safer for pedestrians and road users.
“Plans have been drawn up for a redesign of the junction, with a pedestrian crossing, but the go-ahead is dependent on government funding.
“I am working with highways officers to try and get this funding. I hope that BT will be able to restore broadband services to residents as soon as possible.”
