TULLY, N.Y. (WBNG) — According to the Tully Fire Department, 20 to 40 vehicles are involved in a massive pileup on Interstate 81 Southbound at the Tully/Lafayette line.
A reported 12 ambulances were assigned to the incident.
511NY reports that the interstate is closed between Tully and Lafayette.
Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to seek alternate routes if possible. Traffic is being detoured off at Exit 73, with motorists directed to take State Route 20 onto US-11.
