A man was killed after his car crashed into a front yard and then burst into flames in Medway, Massachusetts, on Thursday morning.
The crash occurred around 8:50 a.m., police said, when a car traveling north near Amelia Drive left the road and crashed into the front yard of a residence at 26 Summer St. before bursting into flames.

Two bystanders intervened, entering the area of the burning vehicle and removing the driver to a safe location away from the flames.
The male driver was rushed by ambulance to Milford Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and police are still working to identify the victim.
Summer Street was shut down between Main and Milford streets due to the crash, and was expected to remain closed “for an extended period of time,” police said. Drivers were being urged to seek alternate routes if possible.
