WATERTOWN, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – The South Dakota Highway Patrol is issuing a warning for winter weather traveling after a patrol car was hit on the highway.
According to a Facebook post, a trooper was struck on Highway I-29 in the afternoon hours of Friday, Jan. 16.
SD Highway Patrol says the trooper is ok, but sustained minor injuries.
Police have issued a warning to slow down and drive with care during winter weather conditions.
