A 78-year-old New Hartford man is in serious condition after being struck by a car and law enforcement is investigating, according to a statement from the New Hartford Police Department.
At around 7:45 a.m. on Jan. 28, the New Hartford Police Department and the Willowvale Fire Company were dispatched to Sessions Road in New Hartford for a report of a car-pedestrian collision on Sessions Road near Cosmo Court, with serious injury.
Upon arrival, the New Hartford Police determined that 78-year-old Lynn Rausher of New Hartford was struck by a vehicle.

Rauscher was transported to Wynn Hospital by Edwards Ambulance and is in serious condition at this time. Rausher was in the roadway at the time of the collision, authorities said.
New Hartford Police Investigators and Evidence Technicians also responded to Sessions Road. to process the collision scene and collect evidence.
The investigation into this incident is still ongoing and no charges have been filed at this time.
