When it comes to off-road, suspension is everything. It’s the difference between floating over whoops like a hero and getting bounced around like a ragdoll five minutes into the ride. The problem is, most suspension setups force you to choose between comfy and flexible for rocks, or tight and stable for speed.
That problem might have been solved though, because a new technology has just been revealed, and it claims it can dodge that compromise. The new party trick can be found inside a new limited-run off-road machine that’s basically built for people who want their vehicle to outsmart the terrain.
A heart-pounding ride in the ultimate off-road machine.
Polaris has just revealed the all-new RZR Pro R Ultra Edition, which also debuts DYNAMIX DVS, a factory-integrated system the brand says is the first to use electronically controlled hydraulic locking sway bar links on a production vehicle. In simple terms, it can let the wheels move more independently when the trail gets nasty for a smoother, calmer ride, then tighten up when you start attacking corners so it stays planted and precise at all times.
The setup was developed with Suspension Direct Inc (SDi) and tested in the worst conditions possible where it helped the RZR Factory Racing team stack wins through the 2025 season, including a SCORE series championship and Baja success.
Basically, the RZR Pro R Ultra Edition is a race-ready machine that can be bought by private customers. However, not everyone can have one.
This one-off Polaris RZR by Porsche Engineering packs 911 GT3 seats, KW suspension, and rear-wheel drive for a truly wild off-road experience.
Polaris didn’t slap new tech on the Pro R and call it a day. The Ultra Edition brings a more premium, race-inspired feel with an MPI racing steering wheel, 32-inch BFGoodrich KM3 tires, and a limited Velocity Blue look with GatorStep interior accents. It also comes packed with big-ticket extras, including a massive 10.4-inch vertical RIDE COMMAND touchscreen, Rockford Fosgate Stage 4 audio with a 1500-watt amp, and even heated and vented seats for long days in brutal conditions.
Only 500 units are being built globally in two-seat and four-seat versions, which means this will be a pretty rare machine. And, it’s not going to be cheap either, because the two-seater starts at $46,999, while the four-seater starts at $50,999. Whoever decides to grab one, is guaranteed a heck of a good time.
