AA Traffic News reported the incident on Olive Road, on Friday afternoon (January 30).
A traffic notice read: “Partially blocked and queueing traffic due to crash, a car and a motorbike involved on Olive Road, southbound from A270 Old Shoreham Road to Portland Road.”

This comes after part of the A27 was briefly blocked, near Falmer, around 10am.
Slow traffic was reported by the AA – eastbound from A23 London Road to Coldean Lane (Hollingbury / Ditchling junction).
Sussex Police confirmed this was due to a broken-down car, and the road had reopened by 11am.
