A sedan erupted into flames Friday on Interstate in South Florida, shutting down all northbound lanes.
The incident happened just after 1:30 p.m. near Copans Road in Pompano Beach, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Video showed at least three vehicles passing through a wall of flames, according to WSVN 7.
The driver was able to escape the vehicle before it caught fire and no one was injured, a spokesperson for FHP said.
It’s not clear what caused the car to burst into flames.
