Organizers are expecting huge crowds Feb. 7 for the annual Cars on 5th in downtown Naples. As many as 25,000 people cram Fifth Avenue South every year for the luxury-car show.
That’s why Naples police are telling people to get there early to avoid traffic and find good parking.
“Expect large crowds, traffic congestion and limited parking in the area,” police wrote on Facebook. “Please plan ahead and allow extra travel time.”
The following streets will be closed from 1 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7:
Free shuttle service for Cars on 5th is available from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Collier County Government Center, 3315 Tamiami Trail E., Naples.
People using the shuttles can park for free in the government center’s parking garages. The shuttle drops off and picks up attendees at Fifth Avenue South and Ninth Street.
You can also park on downtown Naples side streets and in public parking lots that aren’t blocked off, or in one of two free downtown Naples parking garages:
Cars on 5th — also known as Cars on 5th Concours — takes place 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, along Fifth Avenue South in downtown Naples, Florida.
The luxury-car show features more than 750 luxury, vintage, exotic, prototype and muscle cars.
The 22nd-annual show is part of the Naples Automotive Experience, a two-day event that kicks off Friday, Feb. 6, with the Jetport Reception at Naples Airport’s Northern Jet Hangar. Tickets are $500 and include a showcase of some of the world’s most exotic cars, jets, planes, helicopters and luxury goods.
Tickets for Cars on 5th are $50 for general admission ($10 for ages 12-18, free for younger kids with paid adult admission).
VIP tickets are $300 and include Cars on 5th admission and a tented VIP area on Park Street near Cambier Park with free drinks, a wine tasting, catering and an exclusive display of the highest value Ferraris and other exotic cars.
A $1,250 “patron level” ticket includes everything offered with the VIP tickets and full access to all Naples Automotive Experience events, plus all-day hospitality, brunch, lunch, dinner and drinks at the restaurant Del Mar (including a Best in Show award ceremony at the restaurant).
Tickets are available online at carsonfifth.com, in-person at any Habitat for Humanity ReStore location in Collier County (until Feb. 6) and at the Cars on 5th gate the day of the event.
Unlike previous years, tickets will not be sold at the Collier County Government Center, where the free shuttle buses will be located.
