The B1062 between Beccles and Bungay was shut while emergency services attended the scene
A man has died after his car left the road and hit a tree.
Suffolk Police said it was called to the B1062 at Barsham, near Beccles, at 01:28 GMT following reports that a black Land Rover Freelander had left the road.
Despite the efforts of emergency services personnel, the driver, in his 30s, was declared dead at the scene.
The road was closed for an investigation and reopened at about 15:50. Anyone with information about the single-vehicle collision is asked to call 101 quoting reference: 37/7627/26.
