One person was injured when a car drove over a Fairfax overpass into Metro train tracks outside the Dunn Loring station on Wednesday afternoon, according to Fairfax County Police.
At 11:24 a.m., first responders arrived on the tracks. The car went off the road on I-66 Westbound by the Cedar Lane Overpass. The car's driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

After the crash, the I-66 Westbound HOV Lanes shut down.
Orange Line trains werenot running between West Falls Church and Vienna because of the track obstruction, according to WMATA officials. Route F50 between Vienna and Dunn Loring was provided as an alternative route.

Just before 2:00 p.m., Metro released an update that Orange Line trains are single-tracking between Vienna and West Falls Church, and riders will continue to experience delays in both directions.
