Two bodies have been found after a car crashed into a river north of Sydney on Wednesday night.
Emergency services were called about 11:50pm to the Macdonald River, near Settlers Road, St Albans, about 20 kilometres north of Wisemans Ferry, following reports a car had entered the river.
Officers attached to Hawkesbury Police Area Command found that a car had crashed into the river before one passenger exited the vehicle and reached the riverbank.
The 24-year-old man was assessed by paramedics at the scene but did not require further treatment.

Police were told two other men were inside the car at the time.
About 11.20am on Thursday, NSW Police said officers located a vehicle in nearby waters.
"A further search resulted in Police Divers locating two bodies in the water," police said in a statement.
The bodies have yet to be identified.
Police have been told the two other men who were in the car were respectively in their 20s and 50s.

Inspector Claudette Gebrael from Hawkesbury Police Area Command said it was believed the three men were related.
"Initial enquiries show that [the car] may have hit a tree to start with and entered the water," she said.
The State Emergency Service (SES) and NSW Rural Fire Service were involved in the search for the two men prior to their bodies being recovered.
Police divers were also deployed to the scene to search for the vehicle and occupants.
