LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A crash on Tropicana Avenue near Koval Lane has resulted in the closure of the eastbound and westbound lanes, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
The incident occurred just after 9 p.m., involved a vehicle and a pedestrian, who sustained serious injuries and is currently receiving treatment at a local hospital.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police officers responded to the scene at the intersection of Tropicana Avenue and Koval Lane.
The LVMPD Traffic Bureau is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
Both eastbound and westbound traffic lanes are currently shut down between Koval Lane and Paradise Road.
Motorists are advised to take alternate routes and avoid the area.
The road restrictions will remain in place until the accident is cleared.
