MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (7News) — An investigation is underway after a rollover crash on the Inner Loop of Interstate 495 in Silver Spring, Maryland, left one person dead and two others injured on Saturday afternoon.
According to the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue (MCFRS), crews responded around 3:06 p.m. between the Georgia Avenue and Colesville Road exits for reports of an overturned vehicle.

Bystanders pulled two men from the vehicle and performed CPR on one victim, and medics continued resuscitation efforts when they arrived. Unfortunately, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities said another man was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive. A third victim was treated at the scene for minor injuries and declined to go to the hospital.

The Montgomery County Police Collision Reconstruction Unit is expected to investigate the crash.
