JACKSON — A 34-year-old township man died in a car accident on the morning of Aug. 23, officials said. 
At 6:27 a.m. on Saturday, township police responded to the scene of the crash on Metedeconk Trail, Chief Matthew Kunz wrote in an email.

A driver had crashed into a parked truck and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Kunz.
