A woman drove into a Planet Fitness in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Tuesday afternoon, killing a 72-year-old man who had been inside working out and sending others to the hospital with injuries.
A 59-year-old man on a treadmill suffered cuts and abrasions, and the 69-year-old female driver suffered injuries consistent with airbag deployment.
The gym has been closed by building officials until further notice.

The incident, which took place around 12:20 p.m., is under investigation.
Chopper footage showed a sprawling emergency response at the scene.
