PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (7News) — A woman inside a car with her 2-year-old child was killed Tuesday after a crash in Landover, Maryland, involving a stolen vehicle with four juveniles inside, law enforcement sources told 7News' Maryland Bureau Chief Brad Bell.
The crash took place at Sheriff Road and Martin Luther King Jr. Highway when a stolen vehicle ran a red light and struck another vehicle, officials told 7News.
Officials said the mother was pronounced dead at the scene, while her two-year-old child survived.

The suspect vehicle contained four juvenile males, three of whom sustained injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital. All four juveniles are in police custody, according to the Seat Pleasant Police Department.
"Seat Pleasant Police Department saw a stolen vehicle," acting Prince George's County Police Chief George Nader said.
Nader added that officers first spotted it stolen through plate readers and briefly followed before being called off.
"What they were trying to do was keep eyes on it until we got the helicopter in the air that could follow it," Nader said.
County Executive Aisha Braveboy was on the scene, calling for accountability for minors on what was the first day of school in Prince George's County.
"Today is just a very sad day in Prince George's County," Braveboy said. "Young people have to be in school. They have to be focused on learning and their education, and their future. When they take their eyes off that, they end up in situations like this."
State's Attorney Tara Jackson said justice will be served.
"Instead of celebrating our children, we’re talking about a life that was lost," Jackson said. "Whatever violations of the law we see, we will charge for that… We have got to hold our young people responsible. If we don’t, we will continue to see tragedies like the one that we’ve seen today."
