A man died after being hit by a car in New Jersey on Sunday afternoon, according to a spokesperson with the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office.
Officers said that a man was found laying in the street near New Willow and Jennett streets just before 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 7.

The man had been hit by a car, police said. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
An autopsy is expected to happen to figure out how he died, officials explained.
This case is being investigated by the Trenton Police Department and the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office.
