A woman has been injured in a crash between a lorry and a car in Bridport.
The woman has been taken to hospital for what police have described as minor injuries.
It comes after a crash on the A35 forced the road to close at the junction of West Bay Fields this afternoon.
The road was temporarily closed as the paramedics, fire fighters and police officers dealt with the incident.
The closure caused chaos to traffic which was backed up in all directions at the Crown Roundabout.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police added: “At 3.06pm on Monday 8 September 2025 we received a report of a road traffic collision involving a car and a lorry in West Bay Fields in Bridport.
“Officers are currently in attendance with the ambulance and fire services.
“The road was temporarily closed, but has now reopened.
“Recovery has been arranged for the vehicles.”
