Two students have been taken to hospital after a hit-and-run near Wymondham High School.
Police were called to Folly Road at 3.30pm on Monday following reports of a fail-to-stop collision involving a car, two pedestrians and a bus shelter.
In an email seen by this newspaper, Headteacher Mr Chris Smith said: “There was an accident involving a car and a number of our students at the bus stop by the junction of Norwich Road and Folly Road.

“The ambulance crews, police and staff attended the scene.
“Two students were taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
“Parents of these students were informed and are currently at the hospital.
“Students who witnessed the event gave statements to the police and the school have also been in touch with their parents.
“We will be supporting any students affected by this incident.”
A spokeswoman for Norfolk Constabulary confirmed that the car believed to have been involved has been recovered.
“The driver remains outstanding and enquiries are ongoing to locate them,” she added.
