A former Baldwin County High School football player who had just started his freshman season on the West Alabama team, was killed killed in a car crash, according to his former coach.
Coach Andrew Davis, through tears Sunday afternoon, described 18-year-old Tiger Elisha Jones III as a “light to everyone.”
Yesterday we lost one of the greatest men to ever wear the black and orange. EJ embodied what it meant to be a Tiger. Most of all, he was an excellent person with an infectious personality. EJ was a natural leader both on and off the field. He will be greatly missed!#PlayFor11 pic.twitter.com/88KNnWBBdV
