A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for the grand opening of Blackstone Chevrolet's new Mega Used Car Center.
Originally starting as an empty parking lot is now a parking lot full of new and like-new used cars.
There were about 300 used vehicles on the lot on opening day.
Used vehicles can range from 15-year-old to 1-year-old.
The new center is fitted with a mechanics shop and wholesale parts to meet the community's needs for repairs.
Congressman Jim Costa was there and spoke about the importance and economic impact the new center will have on the community.
The center will provide new jobs, and with economic uncertainty, buying a used car is more affordable for the average consumer.
Guests who came to the event also got to enjoy a free hot dog, a raffle, and music.
