The A14 is blocked due to a crash which saw a car enter a ditch on the Cambridgeshire border. The A14 westbound is blocked this morning (Wednesday, August 27) from junction 41 at Risby to junction 39 at the B1506 Kentford.
According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, this is due to a crash. Inrix says: “A14 Westbound blocked, long delays due to accident from J41 (Risby) to J39 B1506 (Kentford).”
Suffolk Police and the East of England Ambulance Service have been contacted for more information.

The A14 Westbound remains closed after a car crashed into a ditch. There are still long delays in the area.
Inrix, the traffic data monitoring company, said: "A14 Westbound closed, long delays due to accident from J41 (Risby) to J38 A11."
One lane on the A14 Westbound is still closed, as the emergency services wait for the car to the recovered from the ditch. The car set on fire after crashing but it was extinguished by the Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue service.
The A14 Westbound is currently closed following a car crashing into a ditch and setting on fire. There are long traffic delays in the area.
