AN air ambulance has landed at Priory Park in Southend after reports of a “serious” car crash on Fairfax Drive this afternoon.
The incident is reported to have taken place this afternoon, with images showing a car with significant damage to its front bumper.
Other images shared show an air ambulance landing inside the park with a major emergency response at the scene in the road.

It is unknown whether anyone has been seriously injured in the reported crash.
A cordon is in place around the scene.
Essex Police and East of England Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
