Two people have been taken to hospital following a multi-car collision in Leicestershire.
One arrest has been made in connection with the incident which happened at around 5.22am today (Monday, November 24) in Lubenham Hill, in Market Harborough. Police said two vehicles were involved in a collision on the road.
Leicestershire Police said two people have been taken to University Hospitals of Coventry and Warwickshire following the collision. A spokesperson said their injuries are being assessed but not believed to be life-threatening.
As part of investigations, police said a 51-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Lubenham Hill remains closed while the vehicles are being recovered, police said. It is unclear when the road will be reopened.
