Audi’s new concept car hit Milan tonight as the automaker navigates a market rocked by tariffs and lackluster global electric-vehicle sales. The Audi Concept C is a two-seat, all-electric sports car with a hard-top roof that retracts into a targa-style design; its sleek, modernist body looks like metal smelted into a single block of titanium.
“This is our path,” says Audi Chief Executive Officer Gernot Döllner, noting that he expects the brand to reach a tipping point between global sales of its combustion engines and hybrids and its full battery electric vehicles by around 2030. “This vehicle will carry us to the next century.”
