BEACHWOOD, Ohio — The Beachwood Police Department is changing the look of its vehicles.
The BPD has introduced refreshed graphics for its patrol vehicles as part of Chief Dan Grispino’s broader strategic initiative to strengthen departmental branding and community engagement.
The new graphics were developed with input from BPD officers. The new design incorporates the department’s official patch — a key request from staff — and an American flag, which is intended to symbolize the department’s commitment to both the community and the Constitution.
While modernized, the graphics maintain the department’s signature blue tones, preserving a connection to the city of Beachwood’s official colors.
Residents will see the updated look gradually appear as the new design is rolled out across the fleet.
Halloween fun
The city of Beachwood’s official Halloween trick-or-treating hours will be 6-8 p.m. Oct. 31.
Participating residents should turn on porch lights between these hours. Beachwood police encourages pedestrians to cross carefully, and drivers to stay alert.
Police will be patrolling to help ensure a safe Halloween.
Also, the Beachwood Police and Fire Departments will take part in three free, family-friendly “trunk-or-treat” events that are open to the public.
